Tibor Brouwer began his musical training at the age of five, studying cello and piano. He soon displayed a particular affinity for singing: as both chorister and soloist, he toured Germany and Europe with renowned boys' choirs. After passing a special examination for highly gifted students, he left school early to begin vocal studies at the Karlsruhe University of Music.
This marked the start of a multifaceted career as an opera, concert, and recital singer, with engagements at the Salzburg Festival, the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, the Stuttgart State Opera, and numerous other prestigious stages and festivals. In 2018, he concluded his active performing career and transitioned into artist management – initially as an agent at Hilbert Artists Management. At the same time, he pursued a postgraduate degree in cultural management at the German Academy of Management. Since September 2025, he has been working at the KünstlerSekretariat am Gasteig.
A native of Stuttgart, Tibor has lived in Munich since 2012. There, he sings – entirely out of passion – with the Nostalphoniker, a vocal ensemble in the style of the Comedian Harmonists. In his free time, he is passionate about cooking – or braves the wind and weather on his bicycle in Munich’s city traffic.
