German baritone Jonas Müller is the recipient of the 2025 Music Prize of the German Business Community. The associated laureate tour takes him to the Beethovenfest Bonn, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, the Rheingau Music Festival, the Ludwigsburg Schlossfestspiele, the Heidelberg Spring Festival and the Lucerne Festival.
Since the 2026/27 season, Jonas Müller has been a permanent ensemble member of Oper Frankfurt. Previously, he was a member of the International Opera Studio of Oper Frankfurt, where he made his debut as Guglielmo in Mozart’s Così fan tutte.
A sought-after concert and lieder singer, Jonas Müller collaborates with renowned ensembles including Collegium Vocale Gent, Nederlandse Bachvereniging, the Bach Academy Stuttgart and Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin. Highlights of the 2026/27 season include Bach’s St Matthew Passion with Collegium Vocale Gent under Philippe Herreweghe, Mendelssohn’s Elijah at the Isarphilharmonie Munich, and a Christmas tour featuring the Magnificat settings by Johann Sebastian Bach and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach.
Lieder holds a central place in Jonas Müller’s artistic work. Together with pianist Anna Gebhardt, he was a prizewinner at the 2024 International Competition for Lied Art of the International Hugo Wolf Academy. He regularly collaborates with renowned pianists including Gerold Huber, Julius Drake and Herbert Schuch.
