María Dueñas will make her debut both in Munich and with the Munich Philharmonic under the baton of Manfred Honeck on October 20 + 21. She will perform Korngold's Violin Concerto; also on the program: Strauss' Elektra (composed by Manfred Honeck and Tomáš Ille) and Balmung (commissioned work and world premiere) by Gloria Isabel Ramos Triano. Manfred Honeck already premiered a work by the Tenerife-born composer and conductor in Pittsburgh in April 2022 and is now conducting another world premiere in Munich.
